I have been involved in the commercial roofing industry for over 30 years in all capacities; from installation and inspection to estimating and project management.
While working with large commercial roofing contractors for over 20 years, I was responsible for overseeing such roofing projects as the Crown Colliseum in Fayetteville, the post exchanges at Ft Bragg and Camp Lejune, as well as projects at IBM, SAS, GE and Burroughs Welcome in RTP.
As a Technical Representative for Sika Sarnafil, I was involved with the following projects: the RBC Center in Raleigh, The Dean Smith Center in Chapel Hill, Memorial Auditorium in Raleigh, Duke University School of Law, Cameron Indoor Stadium, numerous other Duke University projects, Pope Convocation Center at Campbell University, projects at Fayetteville State University, projects at Wake Tech, NC Museum of Art, NC Zoo in Ashboro, Rick Hendricks home near Charlotte, Tanger Outlet Malls in Myrtle Beach and Charleston SC, and many other large, complex roofing and waterproofing projects in NC, SC, TN, GA, and VA. Duties included ensuring that the contractors were trained and the product was applied correctly and to industry and manufacturers standards so the building owner would receive a warranty and a quality, leak free roofing system.
During 2006, as a Technical Representative, I conducted inspection services on over 4 million square feet of roofing, giving me extensive exposure to all types of roofing applications and systems.
I was born in Lillington, NC and have lived here all my life. My family is here and I enjoy performing work in the community for local businesses, and the people I know and see on a regular basis.
